The Department of Quality Assurance, Dr. L. H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy, successfully organized the 5th Lecture of the Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Lecture Series on: “Clinical Waivers for Topical Dermatological Products: Formulation and Regulatory Strategies”
We were privileged to have Dr. Roopali Bhanushali (Otavkar), Ph.D, Senior Principal Scientist, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., as the resource person. The session offered valuable insights into global regulatory pathways, Q1/Q2/Q3 sameness, formulation development, advanced product characterization, IVRT/IVPT, and emerging approaches for clinical waivers in topical dermatological products. The engaging discussion highlighted the strong connection between formulation science, product characterization, in-vitro performance and regulatory strategy, making the session highly enriching for our students and faculty.
