REPORT ON ACHIEVEMENTS AT BEYOND RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2025
The faculty members and students of Dr. L. H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy (DLHHCOP) received prestigious recognition for their exceptional contributions and innovative projects at the Beyond Research Conference 2025. This international conference was organized by our esteemed industrial partner, Orah Nutrichem Pvt. Ltd., Pune, at Bhanubhai Nanawati College of Pharmacy, Mumbai. Below is a summary of the awards received:
1. Academic Excellence in Design Thinking for Industry Award
This esteemed award was presented to our faculty member, Dr. Harshal Ashok Pawar, for successfully developing a unique Novel Aromatherapy Composition aimed at treating flat foot. The project was undertaken by Ms. Bhagyashree S. Dhingra, a second-year M. Pharm student, under the expert guidance of Dr. Pawar. The research was generously supported by Orah Nutrichem, which provided chemicals worth over one lakh rupees. Furthermore, the company has expressed interest in filing a patent for this innovative composition, highlighting the commercial and industrial relevance of the work.
2. Best Design Thinking College Award (Industrial Project)
DLHHCOP was also honoured with the Best Design Thinking College Award (Industrial Project) in recognition of the aforementioned aromatherapy composition project. This award underscores the college’s commitment to fostering innovation and industry-oriented research among its students and faculty members.
3. 2nd Prize in the Category: The Visionaries Group – I3 Advanced Innovator Award
A team of talented T.Y. B. Pharm students—Ariba Memon, Sushma Nemade, Rohini Khategare, and Prerna Kale—secured the 2nd prize in the category The Visionaries Group – I3 Advanced Innovator Award. Guided by Dr. Sugandha Chaudhari, the team developed an innovative app named Strong Her. This app is designed to empower women to take charge of their health during the premenopausal stage. It focuses on monitoring bone health to prevent osteoporosis during menopause and offers tailored advice based on age, with the active involvement of family members to support the health and well-being of women.
4. Student Panellist Award & Champion of Change Award (Best Student Female Category)
Our second-year M. Pharm student, Ms. Bhagyashree Dhingra, was recognized with two prestigious awards:
- Student Panelist Award: For her significant representation in the panel discussion on behalf of the college during the conference.
- Champion of Change Award (Best Student Female Category): For her outstanding contributions and leadership in academic and industrial projects.
