Seminar was organized by Innovation team of Institution’s Innovation Council of Dr. L. H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy, Ulhasnagar, on 13^th of May, 2023 on the topic ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A Bird’s Eye view’ by Dr. Saugandha Das, Entrepreneur and Innovator, Edhaa Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Saugandha Das was welcomed by Convener of IIC, Dr. Shraddha Phadke, and other team members followed by interaction with Principal, Dr. Paraag Gide. This was followed by the seminar where Dr. Das took the audience through her journey from Research and Innovation to entrepreneurship. Madam also discussed about various startups and business in the field of pharmacy. She also shared different competitions and platforms related to innovation. Dr. Das also shared a number of funding platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship. Madam also discussed about the journey of various companies that started from a small thought of innovation and are now leading companies serving India and abroad. Finally, the seminar ended with interaction of resource person with students regarding their area of interest and Dr. Das motivated them for Research and Innovation. Lastly, Dr. Shraddha Phadke felicitated Dr. Saugandha Das with a token of appreciation. It was a successful activity as the students were delighted and happy to attend such a seminar.
