Tree Plantation Day Celebration

The Tree Plantation Day organized by IIC-DLHHCOP on World Environment Day was a resounding success. The event not only contributed to the greenery of the college campus but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility among the participants. By actively involving students and promoting awareness about environmental issues, the initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the college community and beyond.

The Institute’s Innovation Council expressed gratitude to all participants and collaborators for their active involvement in making the event a meaningful and memorable one. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue in the future to promote sustainable practices and contribute to a healthier planet.

All students, faculty members, started gathering around 12:30 pm in medicinal garden, tree plantation drive started with speech by principal sir gives the idea about world environment day celebration was initiated by the UN General Assembly designated 5 June as World Environment Day, marking the first day of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.

Medicinal slapping were planted such as rosemary, nirgudi, ashwagandha, stevia, sarpagandha were planning. Student representatives have given a description about medical properties of each plant before plantation

This initiative aimed to enhance the biodiversity of the college campus and contribute to the well-being of the local ecosystem. The student community played a pivotal role in organizing and executing the event. Their dedication and enthusiasm in making the Tree Plantation Day a success were commendable.
