QInformation about College and Management
Ans:The college was established in 2004 in the sprawling CHM campus as a proud addition to the Institutes managed by Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. The college initially conducted the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) course.
With excellent infrastructure, committed and knowledgeable faculty, hard-working non-teaching staff and a conducive environment for teaching–learning process as its corner stones, the college built a strong undergraduate program. This reflected in consistently excellent performance of students at the University and competitive examinations and transpired in good placement and career progression of the students graduating from the college.
Bolstered by the success of the B. Pharm. Program and with encouragement from the management, the college extended itself to begin the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) courses in 2010.  From 2022-23, college started Doctor In Philosophy (PhD) program (6 seats) in Pharmaceutics subject, PhD program is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

Ans:Dr. L. H. Hiranandani college of Pharmacy is Unaided private college affiliated to University of Mumbai, Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. B. Pharmacy course of the college is reaccredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) till 2024-2025.

QWhat are Eligibility criteria for First Year B. Pharmacy?
Ans:For admission to F. Y. Pharm. academic year 2023-24 the eligibility criteria set by competent authority was as follows, The candidate should be an Indian NationalPassed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together.Obtained score in MHT-CET 2023 or  NEET 2023
QIs MHT-CET or NEET exam are compulsory for admission to B. Pharmacy?
Ans:Yes student should have appear and obtained non zero score in either MHT-CET 2023 or NEET 2023 exam.
QWhat is process of admission to First Year B. Pharmacy course?
Ans:Admissions to F. Y. B. Pharm. / Direct S. Y. B. Pharm. / F. Y. M. Pharm. program at Dr. L. H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy will be done as per the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission to the Full Time Professional Undergraduate Technical Courses) Rules, 2017. Aspiring students who have registered themselves for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) can get admitted to the B. Pharm. program at the First Year B. Pharm. or Direct Second Year B. Pharm. Level (After Diploma in Pharmacy). Admissions to F. Y. B. Pharm. / Direct S. Y. B. Pharm. / F. Y. M. Pharm. Program is not yet started by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state. Aspirants need to keep a watch on www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in website for admission procedure.
QIs Institute level / offline seats available in college and what is admission procedure?
Ans:College don’t offer any Institute level seats, but we fill up seats which are remains vacant after CAP admission. To get eligible for against CAP vacant seats candidate must have registered for CAP process and completed documents scrutiny process. Procedure for admissions in the against CAP Vacancy Quota: The college displays the number of seats available against CAP vacancy and invites applications for admissions by publishing advertisements on the websites of the Institute (www.dlhhcop.org) and Directorate of Technical Education (www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in) and puts up schedule for admission on the college notice board and website. Aspiring and eligible students can collect the application form and prospectus from college office on payment of prescribed fee of Rs. 100/- and submit duly filled application before the last date for filling applications. The college prepares a merit list on the basis of guidelines issued by the competent authority for the academic year. Students are called in order of merit to attend the admission counselling round(s) and offered admission. Students who are offered admission can confirm the same on payment of applicable fee and submission of relevant documents. Exact date of beginning of First Year B. Pharm. Class is decided by the competent authority and displayed on college notice board.
QWhat is the fee structure for admission to First Year B. Pharmacy?
Ans:The college charges fee as approved by the Fee Regulating Authority of Maharashtra State for that academic year. Fee fixed by the Fee Regulating Authority for the F.Y.B. Pharm. Program for students admitted in academic year 2022-23 was Rs. 1,38,380/- per year. The fee structure is displayed on college notice board and website. Additionally students have to pay the examination fee and University contributions as mandated by the University of Mumbai.
QCan I get scholarship?
Ans:Students admitted through online CAP belonging to SC/ST/VJ/NT/DT/SBC/OBC category, economically weak students and students belonging to religious minorities can avail scholarship and freeship offered by Central and State Government if they fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Ans:No, college do not have hostel facilities

Ans:There are in total 10925 books available with 3350 titles. College library also having 28 National journals and 1957 e-journal. Book bank facility available for students
QWhat are the charges for cancellation of admission and Refund of fees?
Ans:The rules for cancellation and fee refund are as decided by competent authority.
QCan I avail Education loan?
Ans:Yes, you can get educational loan from banks. The documents required for the same like fee structure, admission letter will be provided by college.
QWhat is the process of Online education in current pandemic situation?
Ans:Online classes and Examinations are taken by faculties on regular basis as per time table. We are using Google meet platform for the same.
QWhat is the term of B. Pharm. program?
Ans:B. Pharm. Program is of 4 year duration.
QWhat are the Job prospectus after B.Pharmacy?
Ans:Pharmacy graduate gets jobs in various Pharmaceutical industries and health care sectors. Pharmaceutical Industry : Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance etc.
Clinical Research Organization: Clinical data manager, Clinical data analyst, Pharmacovigilance etc.
Hospitals:  Drug information provider, Hospital Pharmacist, Nutritional consultant, Patient care etc.
Drug regulatory affairs: Drug registration filling, FA/ Drug Inspector, Forensic Department etc. Sales and Marketing : Sales management, Product management, Marketing management, Promotional strategies Advertising, Marketing Research etc.
